California to build 'world's largest' solar farm
 
 
CNN today reported that Cleantech America LLC, a privately held 2-year-old company has recently announced plans to build the world’s largest solar farm near Fresno California. The farm will cover approximately 640 acres and produce about 80 mega watts of electricity which can power 21,000 homes.
Cleantech plans to sell the solar-generated power to the Kings River Conservation District, which is a public agency. To read the full story click here.
