Cease and Desist served to Thereblogging.com
Yesterday one of our readers (with a nom de plume: Free Speech) asked if I was served a C & D. (read comments) I assume that means a Cease and Desist. Actually I sent the company in question an application for them to serve me a C&D so I can get some big publicity but they replied by saying:
"your invitation to submit a cease-and-desist letter is hereby rejected."
I have to tell you I was heart broken. Here I had visions of grandeur. Perhaps a headline in the Post? Or at the very least the The Blue Ash Times?! Ahhhhh...Little me battling the giant behemoth in defense of Life, Liberty and the American Way and instead I get a one paragraph response. Here is the rest:
"You are hereby given nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicenseable, revocable, limited license to use the modified Red Umbrella logo on your blog.”
Well at least that’s “Priceless”!
