Yes many more senior executives have recently left Citigroup:
Sidney Gottesman: Head of Business Banking Technologies
etc. and I can tell you many more will be leaving soon.
The reason I have not written more on the subject is because I have already said what needed to be said. I used Citigroup as a case study in what not to do when attempting to build the “world's most respected financial services company”.
You will notice that in the last few weeks there have been several comments posted by others regarding leadership issues with Citigroup. I never responded, because frankly few of you get it. Too many of the commentators would rather read and write about the gossip and condemning others than attempt to use their brains and propose positive solutions. (Now I know why the National Enquirer still exists.)
Do you have any idea how disappointing it is for me to read some of your comments. Now I know how KING RICHARD III must have felt when he said:
“A horse! a horse! my kingdom for a horse!”
Is there anyone out there who has the courage to write about how he or she would realistically fix things instead of throwing mud? Anybody?
“To be the most respected company, you first need to be respectful. So, I would say, if you want to be respected, then you need to start by respecting the people who support the company, including the people who work for you, the people who visit your bank and keep you in business. Even respecting the people who are...”
What a novel concept.
